Is the adjustable strut from an 88 GXL interchangeable with strut from 88 TII?

You want to put a TII strut in your GXL? You'll have to remove the solinoid with the old GXL strut, but it other than that it shouldn't be a problem.

A person wants a GXL strut to put on his TII. Would that work?

edit: okay I guess it would be interchangeable if i just remove the solenoid. thanks for your help
