Adjust the TPS

I have the gauge that plugs in and has 2 lights (red and green). Do I want that to be adjusted so that BOTH lights are on?

Yes it has, but I have to say, I like adjusting mine at the computer with the Volt meter.

you should do both and ensure that only one light is on, otherwise the ECU may not be seeing the best signal.

also i can't strees enough how important it is to adjust when the engine is HOT. my TPS reading changes about 5% between cold and hot.

Yes indeed, you are corrrect. I do have the light system as well. I started with that, and then fine tuned it with the meter.

And yes, fully warmed up.

A long *** screw dirver makes it real easy!
