Additional secondary injectors 6x550cc ? ? ?
I won an auction for some parts
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...px?id=92198032
and it came with this
now i see it has standard s5 high imp injectors. ( yes that is a statement )
I have been looking at upgrading to 1000cc secondarys recently and i wanted to know ( apart from the fact that 550 + 550 = 1100 ) would running these in a parallel circit with my secondary injectors ( WITH risistors inline to account for the high resistance of the additional injectors ) be basically the same ( bar the extra 100cc )
is there any way that you can change the voltage signal going to the injectors to make them fire less? or do they not act on the amount of voltage, more on the time voltage is applyed ( sounds more likey to me )
the reason iask it could i solder something inline with these extra injectors to make them fire less with out using and extra injector controller
cheers
let me know what my options are

I think that there are advantages and disadvantages in running a third pair of injectors, but if you have the manifold I would definately go for it. I am not going to lie and say I know everything about that (not even close) but I think you would need something to control those injectors seperatly. Since they are farther up the intake it would make sense that they would fire slightly sooner than the stock secondaries.

ok scrap the how do injerctors fire question. worked it out on my own.
I dont see how they would fire earlier at all? the signal to fire comes at the exact same time.
I agree that i may have to look at using a injector controller. I do have a SAFC which will help to lean them out a bit but with my small turbo i just dont think i'll flow enough air
I have a TO4B S trim compressor wheel and a .60AR housing that im gona fit to my S5 turbo.
Do you think im wasting my time with this adn should opt for something larger like a TO4B 60-1 wheel like the BNR stage 2?

you dont need 6 injectors for your set up. but if you must you will need something to control them with. http://www.alamomotorsports.com/HKS/hks_aic.htm

heh heh, me too. they will fire further up the intake and i guess that would mean the fuel charge wouldnt be in sync with the port openings would it.
