Adding a couple of aftermarket gauges

No not the white background.

I'm looking at adding a couple of gauges so that I can keep a better eye on the condition of the car. I have a N/A with not too many mods but I want to make sure that nothing gets outta spec in my car while I'm driving.

Which one's would you suggest to keep everything under watch? Oil pressure, fuel pressure, tempature, etc, etc...

Mods are in the sig.

Thanks!
Mason

Your the one wanting to 'keep everything under watch'. If you only want 2, choose to options from the list and buy just those.

I know, I know...

I know that some of the stock gauges aren't very accurate and some things need to be keep under a close eye and the stock gauges don't always allow you to do so. Sorry I wasn't more specific.

Alrighty... Those are the two guages I was thinking about but wanted to double check. I was kinda leaning towards a fuel pressure gauge becuase the car lacks one stock and the oil pressure gauge isn't too accurate but good enough for a almost stock car. The tempature gauge I want from the fear of overheating.

My goals with this car aren't much. Mainly just a stout N/A for awhile.

Thanks.

This is a NA we are talking about and since extracting more power out of this car isn't really feasible, save your money for something else other than guages, they aren't needed unless one of the OEM guages are not functioning.

Not quite true. It looks like he has a S5, and the stock S5 temperature gauge is HORRID. "Cold, warm, overheated 5 minutes ago." The S4 temp gauge is very nice, but the S5 one is in need of some serious aftermarket help.

I've noticed that it sucks too.. Mine is cold for about 2 minutes.. then always in the middle.. whether it is 190 or 215 degrees.

I was thinking three - Oil temp, water temp, and oil press. I don't believe the oil pressure gauge is good enough.

You really have no nead for a fuel pressure gauge. I think that would be pointless unless you have a turbo car or are tuning a EMS. Those two apps are rather important to keep tabs on fuel pressure to make sure the delievery is like it should be.

As stated above,

the 3 key ones would be water temp, oil temp and oil pressure.

If you only want 2 , then water temp and oil pressure.

and for the turbo cars a few more:

EGT and vac/boost would be also good.

Okay... So three it is.

Water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure. Unfortuanatly the A-pillar thing I picked up only has slots for two gauges (eh, it was really cheap). Looks like I will have to find another pod.

Anyone have a good suggestion for finding a good single pod for the FC? Cheap hopefully?
