Adding Carter 4070 electric pump to 88' RX7 13B NA, Fuel Line question??
My car (actually son's car) is an 88' RX7, 13B NA built by Kevin at Rotary Resurrection. Great running car! RB header, exhaust, and newly installed Atkins intake and Weber 48 DCO SP2 carb. I couldn't get the volume of fuel needed from the factory in tank pump so I'm installing a Carter 4070 external pump. I'm running a Holley FPR to keep the PSI regulated at about 3.5psi for the Weber carb. My question is, how do you all recommend plumbing the lines from the tank to the new Carter 4070? Since the fuel lines on the RX7 are on top of the tank and part of the stock pump assembly, I'm not sure what the best approach is for plumbing my lines to the new pump. Install a fuel bung in the stock tank at lowest point? Any input or suggestions welcomed. Thank you.
