add coolant light problems

i have an 87 turbo 2. my add coolant lights comes on sometimes and then will go off after a while. what could be the problem? i have no visible leaks and my coolant level is at a normal level. i have been told that it could be bubbles in the system, but i am not sure if i believe that

There is an air bleed valve in the top, passenger side of the radiator. If there is air in the system, unscrew the plastic plug to let it out. Air seems to collect in the radiator right where the sensor is, and the warning will go off if there is just a little air in the system.

To bleed it/fill up the radiator just take the top cap off and fill it all the way up then start your engine and take out the bleed of screw and then start pooring water in slowly untill its full. Hopefully its something as simple as bubbles but I dunno mine does the same thing. Im just praying it isnt water seals.

yeah mine buzzes the add coolant light when it's sitting at idle, but there's no coolant coming out.. I'll try that. Is there a bleed screw on the S5's also?

umm, are you sure you don't leave the car off, fill up the filler until full.. Then remove the air bleeded screw by your air filter... until coolant starts comin out.. plug it.. fill it at the filler again.. Then start car and keep filling...

works for me...

If you leave the car off I don't think that there will be any pressure to push the bubbles out.
