ACV removal question.

This is not my car but I am helping someone get his together. I am not to sure about N/A. I need to know if I pull the air pump and acv is there any adverse reactions like running to rich at idle? This is not suppose to be a hot rod and his girlfriend will drive it alot. We don't need gas fumes. Basically I need to know the pros and cons of the procedure. A detailed description on the net would be nice also.

Bottom line is NO. It will not effect the rich or leanness of the idle. Air pump and acv are not involved in the intake of the engine, just the exaust. Should not effect the idle at all.
