Question ACV-R v.s. S-AFC

I've got an '87 TII with streetporting, intake, downpipe, and highflow cat. I've been hitting fuel cut for a wile now, so its time to take action. Which would you guys recomend I get? A fuel computer or a boost controler?

As a side note, I read some where the stock computer does pretty well, something like it can handle up to 300hp or something like that. I want to be able to safely boost above fuel cut with out running lean.

s-afc does not remove fuel cut. You need an FCD or an upgraded ECU for that.

Neither of them will help with your fuel cut issue.

The AVC-R is a boost controller, which is good if you want to run MORE boost than you currently run.

The S-AFC is a device that allows you to alter the signal from your mass airflow sensor... which will allow you to add fuel.

You will need an FCD or ECU to get rid of the fuel cut, however once you get rid of the fuel cut you will need something to richen up your mixture... in which case you might want to get an S-AFC, upgraded injectors... etc... (depending how much you are trying to run)

Take care,

so which would give me more bang for my buck, a home made FCD and Boost controller, or FCD & fuel computer?
