ACV pic request

Cant find any pics on where the ACV is. I lost my Haynes manual, and cant find nothing in the FSM.

I've got an aftermarket boost gauge that im installing. I did some searching and it sounds like I want to T into the ACV nipple. Also for the light up, what kind of wire should I be getting to a 12v source? Can I just go straight to the battery? I read somewhere about a fuse, but is that necessary?

I'd use a relay hooked up to the diagnostic port for power, where you get the error codes from.

The acv is above the turbo on the lim, it might be blocked off already.

tried to search for an ACV pic for ya. didnt come up with anything

heres where the ACV is located (above turbo)

and what the blockoff plate looks like (to help identify the shape)

ffor the power wire, i ran it to the fuse box by the driver's feet, and unplugged a 15a fuse, wrapped the wire around the end of the fuse, and plugged it back in, old school/ghetto trick hahah.. (check FAQ for FC for fuse box lid/diagram if yours is missing)

The map sensor (boost sensor) is usually connected to the ACV. So just follow that little hose until you hit the ACV. It is about 5 oclock from the BAC.

If it has been blocked off then you may have a T connector already inplace for your map sensor. You should tap a hose barb into the block off plate an you can run that to your boost gauge.

The cars all stock, and he didnt say anything about being blocked off.

Unfortunately I do not have a camera here, but basically the T im seeing is a line coming from the pressure censor and forming a T going towards the fender and one heading to the engine to the side of the throttle body? Someone told me to cut into that T close to the engine side for my boost gauge.
