ACV not working, dump air pump to cat?

ACV not working, dump air pump to cat?
I have to pass emissions here within the next 4 days and have been going over some suggestions
As per HAILERS instructions (very helpful, thanks again) i've determind the ACV seems to be bad.
I don't really have time or the motivation to get it working right since this engine is going the way of the dinosaur after I pass emissions anyway so...
Is it safe to just connect the air pump straight to the cat for now? And the bigger queston, will this have the intended effect of reducing my emissions?
That and ... I'm assuming I could probably find some heater hose to get the job done with, any idea on what diameter to look for?
