Trying to pass smog and found that my avc is only pumping air to the silencer, i have been searching and people say you can trick it to always pump air to the cat by removing a vacuum hose, found this quote on a thread but dont understand which hose this is

2. Trick ACV into pumping air to the cat all the time by removing the FORWARD UPPER vac hose, and capping it.


i have tried removing vacuum hoses around the acv to no success any help would be appreciated
