Exclamation Acorns!

Yesterday, I decided to see how dirty my air filter/intake was. I have only been driving this '86 stock for about a year now. After I took the lid off the air filter, I realized something. There were about 10-15 ACORN shells sitting right on top of the filter, over the intake valve. Not only that, but there had to be at least .5 lbs of BIRD SEED! I could not believe this. Obviously, when she sat in the driveway for a year, someone decided they were gonna move in. Now hows that for F***ED up??

Mice! I had the same problem with my car. Popped the hood one day, found a shitload of dog food kibbles all over the engine bay.

Took a few things apart at one point to clean things up under the hood a little bit, and found old discarded jelly beans crusted into my airbox.

A year later when my intake manifold was taken off, I found more dog food and spent quite a while fishing out as much as possible with one of those flexible claw things.

Pissed me off.

Too funny.....I had the same problem with my motorcycle. I go out to start it up in the spring for the first time and as I was revving it up I heard all of this noise behind me. There was dog food kibbles flying out of the exhaust and shooting all of the way across the garage.....hitting the side of my car. Sounded like a hail storm.

After sweeping it all up I ended up with about 2 cups of dog food. ******* rodents!
