Access to lower A/C mounting bolts?

Access to lower A/C mounting bolts?
About to replace '90 A/C compressor. FSM makes it look simple. However, the two lower compressor mounting bolts do not look easy to get to and little room to set and turn scoket. . Is it easier to remove the P/S pump first or am I making a big deal out of nothing?
