I have had trouble in the past with the relay that is mounted right at the fan motor. It can be accessed by removing only the lower speaker panel (or by crawling around behind it)

It may not b the problem but just a suggestion of a part thats given me trouble before and is immesly easier to swap then the blower motor.

The interior fan is protected by the 30A HEATER circuit breaker in the interior fuse box.

Might be the shaft bearing on the motor binding up or brushes worn out. Having some problems w/ mine too recently. Quits and starts up at random sometimes. A tap on the bottom gets it going again so I'm thinking of taking it out at some point and checking it out.
Might have to get it rebuilt. Good luck on yours. Hope it doesn't crap out with this heat we're having.

Fix the cooling system then. Cooling the engine is not the heater's job...

well there is no cooling issue, but on really hot days when i get on it and the temp hits 193-195 degrees i like to pull the air off it to keep it at 180
