AAS stiffness.

I have an '86 GXL with AAS and when it's in normal mode it's really hard, like, rock hard, and I have way too much wheel hop. I was wondering if it's supposed to be that hard or if something's wrong. The AAS still functions in sport mode in turns and such, but the ride is far too rough for normal driving (in sport or normal). What do you guys think?

The front struts are way stiff. In good conditioin I hardly make the front end move when putting my weight on it. Back shocks are not as firm. If you are getting lots of wheel hop though your rears may need replacement.

I always felt the needed 3 settings "soft", "normal" and "sport". On rough roads the stock suspension is too stiff.
