OK...i already knew what was needed to do this, but what i was asking was how do you tell the difference between the two. What are the physical differences? i have a motor and someone is telling me that i bought an fd motor, but i believe it is an s4 motor, so how do i actually tell the difference? Thanks

if the motor mounts are on the center housing, its a 13b-t...... if they are on the back of the motor, its a rew......... if it has twin turboes, its a rew, the intake manifolds are completely different......

if its bare block......just check the motor mounts
