can you put that coil cell optima battery in an NA?

The cranking amps is 910.

I had one that had 1125 ca in my NA, it weighs a lot, but I got it for cheap and relocated it. So the answer is yes.

Also, I've heard bad things about the red-tops, but nothing bad about the yellow-tops.

The Yellow Top is a deep cycle battery. An automotive alternator does not provide the proper charge curve to charge it completely. Probably not an issue in the real world though.

A bigger issue is that Optima sucks. Over the past few years their quality has gone down the toilet. Look at Exide, or my personal favourite, Deka.

I have a red top in mine, its right around 800 i think. I love it, and its the only battery ive had that my FC cant kill
