91 stock stereo specs (AE system)

Anyone have any numbers on the stock system? What kinda power output it has and how many speakers and such?

Which AE system, convertible or Turbo??

Turbos and coupes with A&B packages had 6 speakers

Convertibles had 8 speakers

AE systems were the same as any other High powered FC system with peak power being around 25watts per speaker.

I have the coupe 6 speaker package.

yea they do, but someone on ebay has a cd/cass. combo right now. I went aftermarket its soooooooooo much better.

Yep.

They average around 15 watts RMS.
