racing hmmm

seat time, seat time, seat time, seat time. Track exsperiance, talent, skill, money.

At your age and way you talk you have no former driving or racing exsperiance. Take the advise from the board. you will wreck thats a givin. Try taking it off the street and learn how to actual drive not drive to the grocery store and use the wisdom gaind on the street if you insist on street racing but without former training and skill considering you even have talent to be a driver you just become another body bag for yourself or an inocent by standard on the street.

TAKE IT OFF THE STREET! untill you learn to drive and thats coming from a street racer.

Yes you will beat the integra and the pickup truck so dont bother.

IMO, i think racing at the local track is alot better than on the streets, there are always exceptions to the rules tho. if its just a stoplight battle then who cares...your only going like 60 anyways. if there is a track within reasonable distance then go there and race. if someone is calling u out tho then go to your getto strip and race!

Who cares?

You can rear-end someone or hit somebody. If there isn't alot of people around you could kill yourself. People are just looking out for your safety. Not to be bitchy. Plus they don't want stupid kids hitting their children, spouses, and relatives trying to prove their **** size.

Plus, people always wonder about you if you don't race. Since you won't 'need' too.

will my 86 base model beat a mid 90's mitsu mirage....i think it might have some stickers and its got cut springs oh it is a 5spd(sarcaism). racing belongs on a track for the streets its retarded unless you have a car that can run ie turbo II....fd... winning in a na is neato and all but picking on ricers and other worthless cars gets old fast.

I had a 95 GSR before I sold it to buy my TII. I ran a 14.85 with an AEM CAI and the spare and back seats pulled out. This was done on a Gtec so I'm not sure how accurate it is but it should run around 15 flat in the 1/4. When I raced my friends 240z he had me till just before the 1/4 mile mark where I would always pull a car length on him. Gotta love 8k rpm. He might be able to stay in 3rd in the quarter, he might slap the limiter but maybe its worth it in a real 1/4mile run...its a close call.

No, I'm sorry but it is our problem. We like modifying cars and we like racing cars in a safe environment. When shitbergs like you end up killing themselves as well as other people it puts responsible folks into a bad light and makes it that much harder for us to keep our hobby alive. Grow up, get a life, and realize that your actions do more than just affect your own life.

I dont race around people. There are streets in my area that are safe. The nearest track is a 1/8 screw that. The nearest 1/4 is 2 hours. So get off my back my actions and choices are my problem so stop giving me your view. I didnt ask for it. I dont risk anyones life but my own and that is my RIGHT. IM not gonna argue so please stop posting your wining about street racing ****.

It could be close, RSX-S is a mid/high 14 sec car and so is a light streetported NA FC with a header.

So what if its a 1/8th? And streets being safe is kinda funny, since as soon as you as you and you're posse start streetracing they won't be. What happens to the person pulling out quietly as you and your friends buzz by.

And those actions and choices are OUR problem. My dad had a Ford Bronco that was caught in the side by a ricer while trying to race past a hick-truck . He now has cronic back problems and is in and out of work. He wasn't racing. He doesn't even drive fast. But he got hurt (the kid did too, pwnt).

The track is for racing, not streets. We're trying to look out for you and mainly others on the road. You risk the life of everyone around you when you do that, and that my friend, isn't a right, actually, street racing is illegal FYI.

Oh and I agree with that Dag's guy post, so I won't repeat that.

My .02 cents. If you run that guy in the 1/8th mile track, then our "whining" will stop and we'll be off your back. And FYI, after an 1/8th you'll know the outcome most likely.

well its good to know that most rx-7 owners on here are mature and ****....What can u expect from a 17 year old? I am as careful as u can be on the streets. I find streets that have no side roads so no one can pull in front of you. street racing is illeagal. SO is going a mile an hour over the speed limit. breaking the law is breaking the law. I agree that street racing is very dangerous and Im sorry about ur dad. But its just something that I enjoy doing and Im sure when im old and more mature ill be just like all yall who think its so bad. But for now let me have my fun I havent had a SINGLE thing happen with this.
