Question 90's Cosmo Transmition

I was wondering if anybody knew if a cosmo transmition would fit in an s4? Mine feels stripped and I know that a 3 rotar engine would need a stronger transmition than mine. If it would fit, do I need a turbo II rearend? If so I have a turbo 2 and will just do an n/a to t2 swap and forget about the automatic transmition. (But this will be a lot of work) Please let me know.

Thanks

Why not go TII tranny? It should be able to handle the power you plan on making.

the cosmo automatic is the same case as the fd/89-99 mpv, with beefier internals. its also controlled by the ecu so it would be tough to make it work in an fc
