90fc runs bad after warm up
After installing 2 used engines ( 1st one smoked ) I completed the installation of the 2nd one. The problem is it will not accelerate correctly after engine temp gets to normal. It starts and idles perfectly, but when accelerated it acts as if it were running out of gas. It will not accelerate past 2000, unless you let off of the accelerator. When cold the engine will rev 6-7000 easily. I have a fp gauge in the line, holds 28-30lbs at idle, goes to 38 under acceleration. Have changed FP, filter, plugs, wires, crank sensor, ECU, coils. IT had a TPS error, replaced TPS and adjusted to specs. No more errors, but problem is still there. It sets no error codes now. When the problem appears, the check engine light will come on, but it will not set any codes. If you shut the engine off and restart, the check engine light is off and the problem is gone for a minute or so. Sorry for the long post, just trying to explain. Also it is an automatic.
