I have a 90 vert in very stock very good condition the car has never idled fine with the air on but it's a vert so no biggy I have had some one adjust and pelace the TPS and the idle problem seemed better (not perfect) but lately when the car warms up if i am sitting at idle and i pull the steering it stalls the car. The rotary makes almost no torque at low revs, so Mazda put a bunch of air bleeds to add power when accessory loads come on. Some are direct like the AC & PS. For everything else, when the computer sees a drop in revs, it pulses stronger on the BAC (bypass air control). When all this stuff is working, the idle is perfect.
