90 S5 N/A is it worth it? >update<??

well it fired. but it will only run for 2-5 seconds.. then dies... it takes about 5-10 sec. cranking then fire... the fuel system looses pressure fast after fire.... all the relays check out going for fuel filter.. will update... this **** better run... if anybody has a better idea chime inn....

pulled filter out and still occurs..
what would let the car start then 5 sec later die.. next will check pressure. but i think its ok.... help

Make sure that stupid hose going to the BAC is connected. That damn thing gets me every time. Other than that i dunno

Could be bad fuel pump, check presurre.

This this same S5 that was stored for few years? Or was that someone else?

Hmm, interesting. Not trying to hyjack the thread but now you got me thinking. My car has a terrible problem when trying to start when warm. I will turn it on cold, it will be fine. I will drive it around till it's warm, shut it off and let it sit about 15 minutes then it just cranks and won't start. Could this be my BAC>? I also have an unstable idle?

Could be bac or vacuum leak.

checked fuel pressure at nipple on top of tank>>1.5 psi.. what should the voltage be at pump i'mm getting like 9 should be 12 or higher right... all the electronics check out.... this was a pump out of my TII. ??? can i use the resistor relay assy. out of my S4 TII with my S5 GXL i know the connectors don't match but running out of ideas i just can't get pressure but have voltage and yes i can pull pump out of tank,, hook it up to a seperate source and it pumps fine

ok get this its the fuel pressure regulator.. its stuck shut will not open under any type of vacume. the problem is that the dam thing is a part of the rail.... need fix.. or replacment....
