'90 Radio issues

I did a search and could not find exactly what issue I am having. Radio works fine (Stock) tunes in, I can hear it, everything is fine... I press the gas pedal and it completely cuts out, as I am backing off the gas pedal, it slowly comes back as I release the gas pedal. It is actually kind of funny... Would this be a grounding issue?

lol what spark plug wires do you have? racing ones will cause interference, or if a wire is arching.

Check to make sure there's no wires tangled in the gas pedal top

Is it cutting out or completely turning off? I have to agree, sounds like a wire is coming into contact with the gas pedal if its turning off. Just cutting out could be plug wires interfering with the signal.

it is definitely interference of some kind, it does not lose power, just like the gas pedal is a volume pot almost. Further the pedal goes to the floor, the lower the volume gets, more I release the pedal, the louder it gets... Like I said, it is more lol than anything else. The car is running great, and I can just listen to the road noise... I am seriously loving every second of being back in my 7
