i have a 1989 mazda rx-7 manual...non turbo...all stock except clutchs...everything works but it wont go...i can put it in gear and it starts to go but it just starts to pulll and pull. ...i was driving it fine then all of a suden it just would not start ... i cecked the coils, and changed the baterry but i now cant get it to run. it runs at 2-5 miles per hour now... .can anyone give me a hint or tip on what may be the problem.?

 

sounds like the engine might be blown. do a compression test on it.

 

how would i go about doing the compression test?

 

You need a compresson tester, or remove the egi fuse and one spark plug on one side, turn it over should give 3 even puffs, do the next one.
