89 na gtu(was this a good deal?)
It is a blaze red 1989 na gtu in need of complete exhaust, paint job, and a couple of interior vents, and carpet. The engine was completely flooded, so far, I have got it running, but running a bit funny. idle issues.....I believe one of the rotors has lost compression, although I don't know exactly why. The only question I'm really wondering...is I talked this guy down from about 1100 to $750. Is this still a good deal? If in fact I do need a rebuild, is $750 worth it for an 89 na?

It's not a terrible deal, but not the greatest either.
However, it is an S5, so if things don't work out you could sell the tail lights, bumpers and moldings and make most of your money back

I wish! lol, I would like an engine! one that needs to be "rebuilt"! but not really willing to spend alot. I also want to start porting it as well. I'm learning; So I'm going to do things the smart way and NOT "learn" on the engine that's in the car that moves. JUST in case I 'F' something up. But I don't really know where to look. there's a guy nearby who has one for $600 and has pretty good compression. its about a 100-110, but I would like to SPEND even less, and GET even less, because I dont want to mess up a damn near new engine, you know? Anyone know of any cheap engines. lol. I always hear of free cars, or free engines, that need work of course, but I don't know where to look! lol.
