89 gtu 4 point brake calipers conversion

89 gtu 4 point brake calipers conversion
so my 91 vert is still down and im picking up an 89 gtu.
can i, or what do i need to do to put my 4 point calipers on the gtu instead of the oem single pistions.
couldent find a thread if their is one please direct me thanks guys.

you need the vented front brake disc and the small steel line that goes from caliper to flex line..and the flex line from that to the body of the car.
You can look at Foxed.ca and look at the parts manual and see the difference in parts.
The Caliper bolts up to where the single piston caliper originally bolted to,so plug and play.

^^What clokker said. Can't be done, at least not without fabricating mounting brackets, lines, and possibly some other odds and sods. And even if it could, there's no reason to. FCs tend to have too much rear brake bias as it is. The only way you might need a big increase in rear brake, like going to the four piston caliper would be, is if you'd gone with a huge big-brake kit on the front. And you'd need more tire than you can fit under the stock fenders to make use of the extra clamping force.
