89-91 non-turbo emmissions

I am doing a fresh rebuild, Im using Rotaryresurrections emission delete thread. I was wondering how many people actually do this because in this thread it says that he does not recommend that you do this. and he also mentions the VDI and 6-ports are controlled by the air pump and emissions. I am worried that it will cause more of a problem than it will help. thanksd in advance. BTW I did search but didnt turn up anything worth using.

yeah the people that I know of that did it, were not satisfied with it and caused them more grief than they expected.

You'll need to make a new mounting point for the 6PI and VDI solenoids, and keep the ACV & airpump in order to keep the aux ports and VDI functioning, so all you're really going to gain is the removal of the emissions rack.

so definately keeping the air pump. but the entire rats nest like all those vaccum lines and stuff, if i delete those will that cause a problem with the 6-port or anything else.
