89-91 Fuel Pump Resistor Relay location

Hello everyone where is the fuel pump resistor relay located on a FC3S 89-91 rx7..
pictures and or diagrams please will be helpful

i checked the ECU codes and got the (fuel pump resistor Relay)code

When i try to start the car it bogs up and down and the engine dies out with no idle.I can adjust the throttle slightly and keep the revs up but when i give it more gas to rev it up it just bogs up and down..this should be the problem right..

Thank You

On the header panel under the air box.
There is fuel pump jumper connection on the pass. side strut tower. Jump the connector and turn the key on and the pump will run continuously.
You'll need to check the voltage at the fuel pump to see what might be the problem. Without looking at the FSM voltage should be around 9/10 volts at the pump, and under full throttle it will jump to 12.

This might help-It's about the fuelpump rewire, but there is a picture of the resistor.
I've never had a problem with mine, it jumps tp the 12 volts under heavy throttle, and drops backs accordingly:

Cool thinks I changed it and I still have the problem with it.
There is no more ecu code showing 51 code(fuel resistor relay)
I still ghet messed up power idle and everything the engine dosent even want to stay on.
Plug wires are good plugs are good-no ecu codes-im going to change the fuel pump and see what happens any more tech please feel free to post

Are you talking about a turbo model?
(I don't see one in your .sig.)

None of the NA's had the fuel pump resistor system?

S5 NA's did have the 2-speed pump system, but not S4's.

JunpoweR, the pics, diagrams and info you need are all in the FSM. This won't be the cause of your problem though. If it fails all you'll get is slightly richer low-load mixtures.

ok so here is the deal again.
I get no ecu codes from the car.
It starts all the time but right after it reves to 1500 it will just die out or just bounch from 1000-2500 rpm if i gently give it throttle it will sorta rev up very slowly but if i step on the throttle too much to rev it faster it just looses power completely and the revs bounce from whereever 1500 rpm up and down.No power over 3000 rpm at all.
I changed the fuel pump resistor relay already and same problems..
Any heads up please//

Thanks

ok so i figured out the problem today since i wasnt lazy.
The previous owner did a hack job on the wires going to the AFM and it was just getting bad voltage to the ecu.
I rewired the wires and it works fine now.
The car revs all the way to 8 grand flawlessly.Just a little rough rev-up feeling but I just think spark plugs will do the trick..

Check the oil pressure gauge sender. Make sure the connector is thoroughly clean and securely clipped on.

Thanks NZverty

I havent checked the connector yet but the gauge gives me diffrent pressures all the time sometimes lower sonetimes higher but never over 40psi..I will unplug it and clean it and reinstall it tomorrow during the day and see how it goes..
