88 warning lights into an 87?

I have an opportunity to swap the 88 warning lights into an 87. I like the 88's better because only the icons are illuminated. My question is, anything else rather than plug and play?

No, other than the fact you may have to switch your 87 lense to the 88 so the clock bezel fits.

Using a 88 panel on a 86 or 87, will require, either replacing the trim panel on the 87 with a 88+ trim panel, or using the 87 idiot lights clear plastic panel so that you can use the 86-87 trim panel.
