Is it possible to remove the motor for the top on the rx7 vert?! and if it is,is it a smart choice for weight reduction. and how much weight will be removed if it was taken off? Thanks for the info.

 

I just got my motors shipped it weighed around 19.5 pounds. for the two, it is possible to remove it, not sure if it is a wise idea.

 

been there tried that man... unless you are a profesional weight lifter dont do it... i did it based on a guy doing it and quickly put them back in... the tops are hard tops so its hard as **** to make them go back up... going down was easy but i could not force it by hand enough to properly latch the latches... if you must give it a try but mine was impossible and not worth the 40 pounds...
