Every single time i hit the brakes the stop light comes on in the cluster

Well to be honest out of the 4 7s i have owned none have had broken bulbs

 

I (being a moron at times) installed LED brake lights. Not wanting to hack up the wiring, I didn't install the load resistors. That would have eliminated the "stop" light from coming on. Instead, my dumb *** took the "stop" bulb out of the warning lights. 5 years later when those $10 (yes, each) bulbs burned out, I get pulled over by the cops for it because I didn't know they were out. I figured that the LED bulbs would outlast the life of the car. I drive the car literally about 1000 miles per year, if that.
