88 t2 problems???

TX 88 t2 problems???

Aight here it is guys i have a 88 t2 large streetport walbro 255 three inch intake and exhaust rebuilt with 2500 miles. Ok now when i start it, it idles at about 400 rpms and acts as a camed pisten motor motor shakes eraticlly what could this be the car is really getting on my nerves if anyone could help me i would really apriceate it alot thanks guys.

Vacuum leak, TPS problem, low compression, or you just need to adjust idle speed up. It will never idle properly at 400 RPM.

got a wideband if so what afr try to idle it up first and see if it clears up if not check injector clips ad see if one of the primaries are off . you can also take a spare cas and plug it up with fuel pump jumper wire in and spin the cas to see if u hear multiple clicks which will be the injectors firing i had a similar prob and one of my inj. wires came loose in the harness and it took monthes to find the prob which blew my new turbo
