88 S/4 NA - Shifter Bushings Replaced...
....I did my research and looked up in search the links on replacing the shifter bushings. The job went very well and of course the shifter now feels GREAT/NORMAL. As it turns out, the idiots that replaced my clutch did not even put the old ones back in, even if they were in one piece, much less tell me about it.

I almost bought new ones for my car, but I forgot that mine were actually decent. I finally put my shifter back in today after it being out for over a year and was pleasently suprised. Now my MX-3 is a whole different story. You know how much most shifters move from all the way left to all the way right in neutral? Mine does that when in gear.

also, those things deteriorate into absolutely nothing and/or fall into the shifter housing after such a long time of abuse.
