88 S/4 5 speed...Gear Shift feels "loose" ....

....but otherwise shifts ok...there is just a lot of "play" there. I did a search and could not find much information...does anyone have a remedy for this ?

New bushings. Mine was like that until I put a new bushing kit in, now its rock solid.

Where's that miata short throw with new bushings at? Surely not a dealer item at that price?!
