88 na

i have found a 88 na for sale. they want 2600 for it. things wrong, motor works on sunroof, but doesnt open, ac doesnt turn on, idle goes from 1000 to about 1500-2000. the great things are, its got great acceleration, it rode real smooth. everything works. i drove it for about 5 minutes. should i drive it longer, anything else i should look for? thanks in advance.

Ok, this one should be easy since you said the motor runs...

To open the sun roof follow these steps:

1: hold the close button for a few seconds.

2: hold the open button for about 2 seconds, maybe just 1.

3 (the only important part): push up on the back of the sun roof

4: hold the open button again.

Ussually the problem is that it's just stuck. Mine will only open on its own if I'm going over about 70 mph.

PS: oiling the tracks or something should help... I think I'll try that. (after 2 years of not trying it.... yeah, right)

PPS: don't try that in front of the owner, maybe you could knock some off the price :P
