hello there im nukeall ..... whats up ?? .... well anyways check this out i was replacing my brake fluid ... when i needed to do the rear.....i wanted to check if my 88 GTU had Limited Slip .....but when i turned the wheels one wheel went one way the other tire another way ..... i was pissed ..... does it mean i dont have lsd even tho its a sprt model ??? WTF i have the turbo seats and the hard suspension .... with the aero mirrors and the spoiler im sad cuz i dont have lsd

 

oh and i dont have power windows ...but i do have a sunroof thats fucked up !!!>=\

 

I thought 88 gtu had lsd.
maybe yours was reaplaced with a diff. one,
or it is worn out.

 

The LSD was standard equipment on the 1988 GXL, GTU, and TII. The clutch packs may be worn out.

 

kool well my clutch is slipping ..... and **** i probly have to service it is it hard ?? to replace ?? or reubild ??? my car was made 12/87 is that still 88 ??

 

You bumps have been deleted. Bumps are forbidden here in the 2nd gen technical section.

As far as if your car came with a LSD you could have found out yourself by reading the standard features and options sticky thread found at the top of this, the 2nd gen technical section.

as far as rebuilding your LSD, yes it is possible, but may be above the abilities of most shade tree mechanics.
