88 fc vert

I have been told that the hood on a 2nd gen convert is aluminum, which was done to help the weight bias...anybody know if its really aluminum?

put a magnet to it!..if it doesn't stick it is Aluminum.
The aluminum hood is about 28 pounds,and you would really "know" if you had a steel one as they are about 56 Pounds.and like a Sled!

All verts are supposed to have aluminum hoods.

I heard the joke a little differently...the mechanics says to the penguin it looks like you blew a seal, penguin says no that just alittle ice cream....
