Question 88-91 LSD rear end into an 86?

Like the title says. Can I put a S5(889-91) non-turbo LSD rear end into an 86?
Let em know if it's possible before I get under the car. Thanx for any and all help.

As long as both cars are non-turbo, yes.

I have an 86 base model, 4 lug. I have a S5 LSD rear end and complete suspension.
I am swapping to the 5 lug setup so I can put in by Bridgeport 13b and have some better stopping power. I wanted to know if the rear ends fit before I started this all. I am looking to add an LSD rear end and I have everything to do so. I just wasn't sure if everything mounted up to the chassis the same way. I wasn't sure if the S4 and S5 were the same underneath.
