Does it click or just nothing. It could be your starter. Try tapping on it a little with a hammer.

If the starter does spin, but it still doesn't start, you may be having hot-start flooding problems.

i changed the fuel pump and filter today and still no start. i have a kill switch for the fuel pump. so i dont think it's a flooding problem.

you probably have primary leaking injectors. if not, then check your coils and mass air flow meter. or the rotor housings are worn too much and it is not getting compression like it should.

I know it may sound funny but to get it running again just desconect the battery for a bit then conect it again and your car will turn on. this is just a temporary fix to get your car running, I know beacuse it hapen to me also, and after I never had the same problem I don't know how it got fix

I know is not going to fix it but at least you are going to be on your way faster than waiting two hours, when it happen to me it was like if I didn't have gas but a gaytold me to try desconecting the battery, I tought he was crazy that it wasn't going to make my car start but it did. After that I checked my fuel pump, spark, fuses and everything was fine, may be it happen twice after that time but I already knew the trick to get it running again.

Could just be a bad connection at the battery terminals. Unhooking the battery probably just tightening down the terminal not disconnecting the battery. Clean the terminals and crank em down a bit.

It cranks, but doesn't start? Like I said before, 90% of the time it's flooding problems. Does using the fuel cut switch have any effect? If it's not flooding, then you need to be sure you're getting spark. A timing light or pulling the plug wires can tell you that pretty easily. Another option would be a bad fuel pump switch in the AFM that isn't allow any fuel at all. Jump the yellow 2-wire connector on the passenger-side shock tower, and then try to start the car. The connector will make the fuel pump run whenever the key is in the 'ON' or 'START' position.

Listen to this. I've had numerous RX-7's run through that required entirely new fuel pump harnesses and such. Try the jumper thing. If that doesn't work, try cranking the car over for 15 seconds with your fuel pump switch in the "off" position. Then try to start her (with the fuel pump "on" now).

the fuel pump switch works cause when it was running yesterday i turned it off and the car died. and all i did yesterday was unplug the battrey to reset the ecu to get it started. now today i tryed starting it again and no start i thought everything was fine one day and the next its not. now i have to wait till the battrey jumper get's charged.
