87 TII Serious Bog at High acceleration?

When I lay it on the floor in every gear the car pulles awsome but when it hits about 5k it almost shuts off for a second then comes back and shuts off. So from 5k to 7k the car bucks really hard like full power no power until I shift then it's fine till 5k again and so on and so on. The car is 87 TII all stock to my knowledge exept for cone air filter. Thanks Alot.

Sounds like fuel cut. Check the vac line on the waste-gate actuator.

the only thing beside fuel cut that I think would be related to your problem are maybe BAD secondary injectors...

But I personaly agree with yearrgh, and I would suspect fuel cut. Is your car modded? Is your wastegate ported?

It's the vac live that starts at the exit of the compressor that plugs right into the wastegate actuator. You'd better remove your TID to check it with ease...

I was thinking injectors as well because the car has a problem with hot starts somtimes. But I'll check the vac line and see whats up. The motor only has like 11k on it and my vac is very good.

ok, when you hit 10psi your ecu will shut fuel off. An FCD will eliminate that, they go for around $100.
