87 TII parts car

well finally today i transported my 87 TII parts car to my house.

From this

to this:

it took us 3 hours to get it from the junkyard to my house. the rear rotors were locked up from surface rust so we had to take the wheels off and whack at them with a mallet till they broke free. but asides from that there was little to no problems.

so now im goin to put some liquid wrench on the bolts and pullys to see if the engine will crank. it holds coolant and oil, but im going to flush them anyways. i'll need to get new sparks as well.

i'll post more pictures of progress when it gets warmer.

heres a link to the 87:

and the 88:

as for the plans goes. i have a 88 TII shell missing the passenger side trans bracket on the fraim and the wiring harness. so right now im going take the 87 TII's engine out, apart and rebuild it, and use is wiring harness in my 88, and while the 87 is a shell, getting exact measurements to see if i can get a local shop to fabricate the bracket and get the 88 TII back to running condition. but heres the catch! im only 18, these are my first 7's and im a full time student.

Don't try to start the engine if you are definitely rebuilding it, whats the point? You will find out if its good or not when you take it apart and clean it all up. You might be able to steal the mount from the 87 and weld it on to the 88, something to ask the shop.

Those wheels look waaaay to shiny for that car.
