87 TII back together
I'm putting a rebuilt engine in my 87 tii here are my ideas. (my motor is fqd and my turbo is fqd)
I'm thinking about buying a rebuilt from atkins rotary but i have a few questions.
Mild Street Port - ok for Turbo? i know loss of low-end torque but up to 20% more hp??
3mm Apex seals - pros/cons need more boost? but stronger right?
Race Bearings - what are these? abilty to spin faster?
Clearance Rotars - what are these or whats the service?
For my turbo since its fd up i want to upgrade it or buy a new
What is everyones ideas on this??
Just a stage 3 upgrade at BNR supercars with
additional injectors but what do i need? how many ccs... I'll also need a computer to controll then right?
I also what to put a blitz intake and some kind of exhaust but i cant find one i like i want dual 3" maybe
if you can give me more education please do
thank you

Street port is ok for turbo, get it. I wouldnt worry about torque loss at all. You'll like the bigger ports.

Its your call, but 2mm seals should be fine for what your want as long as your car doesnt detonate. If your getting your old engine rebuilt and rotor tips are damaged, you might need to upgrade though.

Dont worry about them for a street car, your car wont need them.
Clearance Rotars - what are these or whats the service?
Again, dont worry about this either. Unless your going to be going 10,000 rpms or something.

Having it rebuilt and upgraded is good idea. You could probably keep the stock injectors with an apexi afc and fuel cut defenser.
