WA 87 t2 aftermarket fuel system..fuel line to stock rails question!..

so i recently purchased some new goodies and i've been waiting to replace all (most) fuel components. fuel pump/filter, regulator, lines, etc. leaving the stock rails.

but after pulling the lines and unbolting the bolts from the stock rail itself. i noticed that there are two different thread patterns. note that i had already purchased 3 of 1/4 npt x -6an 90deg adapters. and 1 of 1/4 npt x -8an 90deg.

i am not running a parallel system. will be doing parallel in the future though.

so the adapters i bought were garbage. i think!?!....

i did some searching and came up with the thread patterns being M12 x 1.25mm and M14 x 1.50mm. am i correct?.. if so, then where can i find adapters.

i will be runing -8an feed and -6an return, and -6 for rail connections

if you want to know more about the fuel setup. feel free to ask. will be posting thread of my build soon..

sorry if im not making myself clear. and thanks in advance.

http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/FUEL/fsystem.htm is for the parallel system, but it lists part numbers for adapters (scroll down). Otherwise go to www.anplumbing.com

I have no idea where you got the idea that the stock rails are NPT fittings. Aftermarket rails use 3/8 NPT usually, but the stock ones are metric. Just use 6AN all around though. What do you need 8AN for? is this a 600whp drag car or something? I've made over 400whp easily with a single supra pump and 6AN in series (non-parallel).

thanks. yea i have no idea where i got NPT from. but dont most pumps recommend using a feed size bigger then the return.

this is my first rotary project. the brain of the car and the fuel system is what im working on as of now. microtech lt10s, aeromotive!. might as well do it now and save some time in the future. the motor is a stock 87 turbo. will be doing a street tune hopefully when the fuel system is done. haven't been able to get her running yet. she starts but doesnt keep idle. 4 year long project. cant give up just yet. ohh yea car was an 88 gxl.

but yea thanks for the help. will let you guys know if i have any more troubles along the way.
