87 rx-7 mods

I was hoping to get some help from everyone. I have a 1987 RX7 I bought brand new. It has extremely low miles and is mint condition. It has been garage kept for all these years but I recently decided I would like to get better performance and do some stuff to the body to give it a more sporty look. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I am mainly looking for added power.

don't

Don't take a mint condition 19yr old rx-7 and go get a body kit and new engine. Instead consider getting one with a torn up body that needs paint and a blown motor that you can have rebuilt and ported (for more hp).

Corksport.com has a lot of the body kit things. There was a post a while back about a wide body kit somebody was custom making.

Simpler engine mods (not requiring you to take it out and apart) would be a
bigger freeer exhaust (optional removal of cat)
cone intake (insulated from engine heat)
the rb headers,
the streetlite flywheel
lightweight wheels (unless u have the 13lb ones),
s-afc2 to lean it out some,
crane cams hi-6 for more spark
weight loss
some say the s5 intake manifold (port matched)

Is it a TII? If it is, wanna sell it?

Your car sounds like it is showroom quality, and if I were you keep it that way..
