Pretty much.... There's no way to *cheat* to go faster, you either do it, or you don't. Just because something runs out.... It either stems from the can't afford it, or they're trying to act all cool and be against the F&F trend, god forbid they say nitrous actually has a benefit and works, they might end up lookin like a ricer!

CrypticApathy 10-06-05 07:31 PM

No the I wont bother means id rather kicked the guys asses that use turbos. It gives me more to gloat about.

As for the NOS yes it does work but it only works if you have the bottle filled up. A turbo or supercharger work. NOS isnt exspensive so who the hell woudl use that excuse as in not being able to afford it. Hell if you own one of these cars you knwo the person can afford NOS.

SonicRaT 10-06-05 07:34 PM

2nd gens are cheap, what exactly does owning one have to do about implying money?

Makenzie: The bang for buck only comes over a time frame, for the first couple of tanks, NOS is going to be a lot better.

Also, how many N/A 13B's do you know of that can beat a turbo that has an equal ammount of money tossed in it? Better yet, whens the last time you saw a 600hp N/A 13B?

Number one, "NOS" doesn't exist.

In some areas, affordabillity is a moot issue. The closest place to me that would fill an NO2 bottle is 2 hours away. A lot of the places that fill bottles with quality gas for reasonable fees are industrial and it's hard to make it to fill sites if you work a typical 9-5 schedule.

CrypticApathy 10-06-05 07:37 PM

If you have 2 cars one is faster stock then the other theres no way the slower car can keep up with the faster one if you put the same amount of money into the cars.

Yeah the cars are cheap to have but between gas and fixing shit it takes money to do that.

SonicRaT 10-06-05 07:37 PM

NOS exists, it's a company that sells Nitrous products.. Did I mention my Fiance works for a gas company? I could get LH2 if I wanted!

Yeah...I look at it in more of a "I'd like this to last a couple years" perspective..lol.

Given that they were modded by folks of equal intellegence, none. I've seen some people with TII's really blow their money on stupid shit, though.

lol...I haven't seen many 600hp Turbos.

Oh yeah...forgot about them. But they're a company, not a product.

slick shit! I want some! How do you ship that?

CrypticApathy 10-06-05 07:47 PM

NOS itself doesnt exist. its a acrynom for Nitrous Oxide System.

SonicRaT 10-06-05 07:54 PM

Haha.... we're located in Texas, why bother shipping lol! :)

lol...where in Texas? it's huge...

SonicRaT 10-06-05 08:01 PM

Houston

Makenzie71 10-06-05 08:04 PM

750 miles...lol.

I visit my family in Cleveland a few times a year, though...I might hit you up...my favorite part of chemistry class was blowing shit up with hydrogen products...

To clear things up, NOS(the company) does exist, but they dont sell NO2 like Makenzie71 suggested, because that is Nitrogen Dioxide. N02 is not same as N2O which is Nitrous Oxide. Basic chemistry people!!!

typos don't suggest anything.

(too tired today!)

SonicRaT 10-07-05 07:38 AM

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what they said Ted.

NO2 is not the same as N2O, which is Nitrous Oxide (being that N2O = nitrous oxide)

RETed 10-07-05 07:46 AM

damnit!
4 hours of sleep + 16 hours of work
I knew I was seeing things! :P
