Not necessarily. The 86-88 LSD's were available with either 3.909 or 4.100 depending on the transmission type. A MT would use a 4.10 gear and an AT would use a 3.909 gear.

What is the rear axle ratio for a 1987 GXL with LSD?
Is it an 8" ring gear?

Thanks, guys!
This is actually for a "PoorMan's LSD" in a 90 Miata. Once it gets the Turbo, a 4.10 will be fine!
Since I'm new here where can I sell a *primo* 77k miles 88 Anniversary Edition RX7( needs motor...some surprise...).If I don't sell it soon, that damn LT1 Camaro motor might jump in it...
