87 and 88 TII question

Was the alternator relocated in the 88 TII model from the 87

Im wanting to purchase one and noticed a few differences in the engine bays of the 87 model and the 88 model

Thanks for the help!

Damn near every rotary Mazda ever made has the alternator in the same place. All FC alternators are a direct swap mount-wise. There are no differences between 87 and 88 engine bays except a resistor for the injectors in early 87's.
