Cool 86 Transmission to a 90 vert.

I had some problem with the transmission on my 90 convertible, it can only shift to 1st and 2nd gear and can't go into the rest. Does anybody know if a 86 rx7 tranny will fit right on the vert?

If the tranny is from an NA RX7. then yes, there is no problem.
A turbo II tranny would either require a custom driveshaft to mate the na rearend to the TII tranny. Or the rearend (or pinion flange at least) and driveshaft from the TII drivtrain (preferable).
