86 sport model option differences

J9- the LATE 87's did have T2 seats in them, w/ matching "twill" door panel inserts. Essentially, it's the exact interior as the 1988 GTU.

The other give-aways that would signal the car as a "late 87" would be the machine finished wheels, vs the rough cast/forged finish, as well as the availability of black exterior paint. Of our 3 sports, 2 are late '87s w/ the T2 seats/smooth wheels, the other an early '87 w/ rough wheels & 4 lug seats.

Also, AC was an option, and PS was standard after early 86, when before then, it was an option. Of our 3, 2 are factory sunroof cars.
